Hey Gorgeous! My name is Tabitha Austin, sole business owner of Beauty By Tab. I became a hairstylist because I wanted to help people feel confident in their own skin. 

    After growing up in a small rural town in Alabama, I knew I wanted a career where I would be my own boss so I could have a flexible schedule. So, I decided at the age of 19 that I was going to be a hairstylist and makeup artist, and I dove in head first. From the very start I could tell that staying educated and continuously learning is what sets the good hairstylists apart from the amazing ones! I one hundred percent believe in always being educated and staying on trend for my clients. The day I stop learning is the day I’m doing something wrong! I know that if you feel confident in your appearance your whole demeanor shifts. 

    I absolutely love providing a comfortable atmosphere for my clients where they can kick up their heels, and enjoy relaxing, while partaking in some serious girl talk. Confession, one of my favorite parts of the hair transformation process isn’t just enhancing your look and making you feel like you could take on the world, but it’s also teaching you how to make your hair work for you when I’m not around. Because let’s face it, you can’t take me home with you. Nothing makes me feel more accomplished than listening to my clients wants then, formulating a plan that specifically caters to their individual needs!
